WHAT IS AN ESCAPE ROOMS?
An escape room is a live, interactive adventure game where you and your team solve puzzles, uncover clues, and complete challenges to “escape” or finish a mission within a set time limit—usually 60 minutes.

DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE TO PLAY THIS GAME?
Do I need any special skills or knowledge to play this game?
Not at all! You don’t need any special skills, trivia knowledge, or prior escape room experience. Every clue you need to solve the puzzles will be inside the room. Just bring your curiosity, teamwork, and a sense of adventure—our rooms are designed so anyone can play and have fun!
WILL MY GAME BE PRIVATE?
Yes! All escape room experiences at Hypnotic Escape Rooms are completely private. Once you book your game, the entire room is reserved just for your group—no strangers will be added to your session.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PLAY?
Groups of 2 players: $60 per player
Groups of 3 players: $50 per player
Groups of 4+ players: $45 per player
DO I NEED TO MAKE RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE?
Yes. Since all games at Hypnotic Escape Rooms are private, you will need a reservation to secure your preferred game’s date and time slot.
HOW LONG DOES THE EXPERIENCE TAKE?
Each game lasts 60 minutes, but please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and briefing.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY IN ONE ROOM?
Our games are designed for groups of 2–8 players.
CAN CHILDREN PARTICIATE?
Absolutely! Our rooms are designed for all ages, though players under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Some rooms are better suited for families or children under the age of 14 – please call us directly for details.
For participants between the ages of 14 and 18: participants may enter a game without adult supervision only when a parent or guardian is waiting onsite the entire duration of the game.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE GET STUCK?
Don’t worry! Our game masters monitor your progress and can provide hints or nudges if you need help. The goal is for everyone to have fun and feel challenged—not frustrated.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED AND IS THERE PARKING?
We’re located at 6367 Van Nuys Blvd, Van Nuys, CA 91401 (Nearest cross street: Victory Blvd). Two hour metered parking is available along Van Nuys Blvd and surrounding streets (Some meters are free during the evening hours, but hours and restrictions can vary by block — please double-check the meter signs). A short walk away there’s also a public parking available, please call us for details.
